8 oz. Burger Bar Opens in Miami Beach

Josh Woodward, Eric Fried and Celebrity Chef Govind Armstrong, announce the opening of 8 oz. Burger Bar.  Located in Miami Beach, 8 oz. Burger Bar is the sister restaurant to highly successful 8 oz. Burger Bar in Los Angeles. 

8 oz. Burger Bar is a neighborhood restaurant and bar serving customers the markets finest hormone free, humanely raised meats and local produce, reflecting our commitment to quality and sustainability.  With a menu created by Chef Govind Armstrong, Executive Chef and owner of Table 8 NYC and Miami, diners can indulge in burgers, salads or homemade sandwiches at moderately set prices.

8 oz. burgers include: signature 8 oz. Burger is a Himalayan salt cured burger, pickles, tomatoes, white onions and the 8 oz. special sauce; the Melrose Burger has wild baby arugula, garlic roasted tomatoes with red onion marmalade; Niman Ranch Lamb with charred escarole, roasted mushrooms, 8 oz. special sauce, tomatoes, onions and pickles or you can Make Your Own and Customize to Your Liking. 

8 oz. Burger Bar also offers a Veggie Burger with wild baby arugula, 8 oz. special sauce, tomato sauce, tomato, onion, pickle, and avocado; Fillet of Fish, classically fried or grilled, fried caper tarter sauce, iceberg, onion and pickles; Short Rib Grilled Cheese with onion marmalade and bel paese cheese or a Grilled Chicken Salad with ranch dressing, iceberg, tomato, red onion and grated carrot.  Salads include: House Salad; Caesar Salad, or the 8 oz. Cobb Salad.

Classic Condiments include homemade horseradish dijonaise, purple mustards, homemade dill pickles, 8 oz. special sauce and 8 oz. hot sauce.  

Gourmet sides include Fried Pickles, Kennebec Fries, Stout battered Onion Rings and Truffle Potato Skins.

Small Snack dishes are also available and include Fried Olives stuffed with chorizo; Mini Kobe Corndog with homemade purple mustard, Grilled Marinated Artichokes in herbed aioli; or Deviled Eggs with smoked paprika.

House specialty cocktails include the Roasted Pepper-red pepper, basil, Square One Organic Vodka, lime and flamed Chartreuse; New Fashioned-Bulliet Bourbon, cherry herring, lemon, bitters and orange zest; or Perfect Storm-mint, 10 Cane Rum, Domaine De Canton Ginger Liquor, lime and ginger beer.  All cocktails are $12.00.  Beers range from $4.00 drafts to $7.00 micro beers.  Adult Shakes are also available upon request.  

Guests can relax at the bar and have cocktails/beers while playing pool, video games, or picking their own music on the jukebox.  Food is also available at the bar.
