Miami Beach residents 55 and older can bowl, play bingo and listen to live music for free at a Senior Family Day on Sunday, Sept. 20, at Scott Rakow Youth Center.

Miami Beach Parks and Recreation is putting on the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mid Beach facility, 2700 Sheridan Ave. The afternoon also includes snacks and games, the city announced on X.

The event is free for Miami Beach senior residents. Space is limited. The city's announcement did not include a capacity limit or an RSVP deadline.

Residents can reserve a spot in person at three locations: Flamingo Park, North Shore Park & Youth Center or Scott Rakow Youth Center. They can also RSVP by email to [email protected].

The city also offers free ongoing fitness and recreation classes for residents 55 and older, including chair yoga, tai chi, water aerobics and pickleball. Residents can call 305-673-7730 for details on senior programming.
