Daniella Karagach, a Mirrorball trophy winner on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," and her husband Pasha Pashkov have opened a coffee and dessert shop at 821 Lincoln Road.

Sulta Rosa held its grand opening July 7 and has been serving handcrafted baklava, croissants and specialty coffee drinks since. The shop is open daily from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m., making it one of the few late-night dessert options on the pedestrian boulevard.

Pashkov has said Lincoln Road felt like the "right place to bring the concept to life," according to People magazine's reporting on a July Forbes interview. The location came about when Pashkov's best friend flagged the available space and asked if they wanted to collaborate.

The shop draws from multiple culinary traditions. Its confections use Sicilian pistachios from Bronte, Iranian saffron from Khorasan, pure Damask rosewater and hand-stretched phyllo pastry layered more than 40 times. Karagach told People at the Dancing with the Stars Con on July 31 that the menu spans Turkish, Eastern European, Italian and French dessert traditions.

"Whether you're stopping in for a morning coffee, taking a break from walking around Lincoln Road with an iced drink and something sweet, opening your laptop to get some work done, meeting friends, or ending your day with dessert, we wanted to create a place where people can slow down, relax and enjoy being present with each other," Karagach said.

The couple partnered with Miami entrepreneur Emanuel Rich, who handles day-to-day operations. Sulta Rosa is the duo's sixth business venture.

The shop's website describes a dual concept: confections boutique by day, intimate coffee bar by night. As of Aug. 10, the coffee bar page on sultarosa.com still shows a "coming soon" placeholder, suggesting a phased rollout for the evening program.
