Afterschool tennis registration is open at Flamingo Park Tennis Center, with monthly plans starting at $150 for players as young as 4.

The City of Miami Beach announced on X on Friday, Sept. 25, that families can register for Cañas Racket's Fall 2026 Afterschool Tennis program at the 11th Street and Jefferson Avenue facility. A city Facebook post listed the $150 starting price, though full pricing details were not available.

Cañas Racket, which operates programs at the city-managed tennis center, lists several junior afterschool tracks on its website. The development side includes Tiny Tots for ages 4–5, Quick Start for ages 5–8 and a Junior program for ages 9 and up. A competitive track offers Pre-Academy U9 Orange Ball, Pre-Academy U9 Green Ball and an Academy level for ages 10 and older.

The city's announcement did not specify which of those age groups are included in the fall afterschool session or list a registration deadline.

Flamingo Park Tennis Center is the largest of Cañas Racket's five Miami-area locations, with 17 courts. The city manages the facility.
