Programming Spans Five Regions of the State

The week spans five regions: South, Southwest, Central, Northeast and North Florida. All programming is free, and virtual attendees can register through Whova, the event's official app and web platform.

VoLo Spokesman Highlights Outdoor, Hands-On Events

Carlos Roa, a senior press representative for VoLo Foundation, described the week on social media Sept. 3 as focused on outdoor activities and direct contact with Florida's ecosystems, writing: "La mayoría de los eventos es al aire libre, es contacto con la naturaleza y entender qué está [pasando]" or "most of the events are outdoors, it's about contact with nature and understanding what's going on."

Specific Miami Beach event names, times and venues had not been published as of Sept. 4. The local lineup had not been posted to Florida Climate Week's in-person events page by that date. Residents can check floridaclimateweek.org for updates as sessions are added.
