Lincoln Road's annual Halloween Block Party returns to Miami Beach's pedestrian promenade Oct. 31 with trick-or-treating, live music and thousands of costumed revelers.
The City of Miami Beach announced the celebration draws thousands of participants each year and called it one of the largest Halloween parties in the country.
Families get first dibs. Trick-or-treating runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with candy stations, crafts and costumed characters, according to the Boca Raton Observer. Supplies are limited.
After dark, the promenade shifts into a full-scale block party. Live performers, Wonderama Band and DJs take over from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., the Observer reported. The Lincoln Road website lists the overall event window as 5 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The end times differ between sources.
More than 17 restaurants, bars and cafés along Lincoln Road plan to offer drink specials and outdoor seating with views of the costume parade, according to the Observer.
Parking is $1 per hour throughout Miami Beach through Oct. 31, with garages and lots available between Washington and Alton avenues.
The celebration also continues Nov. 1, according to Lincoln Road's event listing.
