Miami Beach hotel spas slash prices up to 40% through Aug. 31

More than 40 spas across Miami-Dade County are offering luxury treatments at fixed prices of $109, $159 and $199 through Aug. 31 under Miami Spa Months, now in its 19th year and already underway since July 1. For Miami Beach residents, that means access to places like Tierra Santa Healing House at Faena Hotel on Collins Avenue at rates roughly 40% below normal.

The program, organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, comes as hotels work to fill rooms during a softer-than-projected summer. Match-day hotel occupancy during Miami's seven World Cup games in June and July averaged just 24% across the market, and 45% of local hotels projected a shortfall against their own forecasts, despite an estimated 500,000 visitors passing through the city, Miami Wire reported.

"It gives locals the chance to visit spas they normally wouldn't ... All treatments are 40 percent off," GMCVB spokeswoman Izabella Felpeto told Local 10 News on Aug. 4.

What's available on Miami Beach

Tierra Santa Healing House, on the third floor at 3201 Collins Ave., is offering six treatments across all three price tiers, according to Faena's booking page. The menu includes a 60-minute Summer Grounding Massage Ritual ($199) that combines botanical inhalation, back exfoliation, probiotic-rich full-body massage and a palo santo sound healing ceremony. A 60-minute Hydration of the Bisses Facial by Valmont runs $199. IV drip therapies start at $109.

Offers at Tierra Santa are available Sunday through Friday only. Reservations are required; call 786-655-5570. Tax and gratuity are not included.

Other Miami Beach participants include Lapis, The Spa at Fontainebleau (4441 Collins Ave.); Bamford Wellness Spa at 1 Hotel South Beach (2341 Collins Ave.); Away Spa at W South Beach (2201 Collins Ave.); The Palms Aveda Spa (3025 Collins Ave.); Esencia Wellness at Nobu Eden Roc; Valmont for The Spa at The Setai; and The Spa at Carillon in North Beach (6801 Collins Ave.), according to NBC Miami.

Miami Beach hotel spas cluster in the $159 and $199 tiers. The $109 entry level covers select treatments like IV drips and smaller studio offerings. Residents can search participating spas by neighborhood and book directly through the GMCVB's official program page.

Separately, The Standard Spa on Miami Beach (40 Island Ave.) is hosting a Sound Healing Journey event on Sunday, Aug. 23, combining breathwork, live violin and crystal singing bowls, with post-session access to indoor baths.
