Antonio Bachour, twice named the world's best pastry chef, has created and now oversees the breakfast and lunch menus at The Restaurant at Harbour Club in Sunset Harbour.

The arrival of Bachour at the private members' club and restaurant at 1766 Bay Road was reported by Haute Living in October. Executive chef Bogdan Danila will lead a separate dinner program starting Tuesday, Nov. 10, with service from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Best Chef Awards named Bachour the world's best pastry chef in 2018 and 2022. He built a following in South Florida through his restaurant, Bachour, and is celebrated for intricate desserts, according to Miami New Times.

The dining room is open to the public. Breakfast and lunch run Tuesday through Friday, with an extended brunch on Saturdays and Sundays that adds Bachour's pastry side to the lineup, according to Food & Beverage Magazine.

"For me, creating the breakfast, lunch, and brunch concept at Harbour Club is about bringing together my passion for pastry and my love for gastronomy," Bachour told Food & Beverage Magazine. He added that he wanted a menu celebrating fresh ingredients and bold flavors while keeping the food approachable.

Danila trained in Dublin at Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud before serving as chef de cuisine at Gordon Ramsay's Restaurant Petrus in London.

In New York, he led The Clocktower at the Edition Hotel to one Michelin star, according to Haute Living. His dinner menu centers on Florida seafood and dry-aged steaks, with dishes including whole roasted Florida snapper Veracruz, spiny lobster rigatoni and a 32-ounce dry-aged ribeye for two.

The reimagined dining room seats 80 guests indoors with wraparound bistro-style seating outdoors.

The overhaul follows a change in ownership. Frankie Santos and Luis Simoes, who Miami New Times reported took over about nine months ago, are steering the club into its third season. The pair previously relaunched Annabel's in London and transformed The Roof Gardens in Kensington into a leading private members' club, according to Haute Living.

"Sunset Harbour has embraced us, and we want to give the neighborhood a place they can return to throughout the day," Santos and Simoes said, according to Food & Beverage Magazine. They said they envision a spot for weekday breakfasts, weekend brunches and celebratory dinners alike.

Harbour Club opened in 2024 with Mediterranean restaurant A'Riva before partnering with James Beard Award-nominated Caracas Bakery earlier in 2026, according to Miami New Times.
