Two of Brazil's greatest soccer players are now neighbors in the Miami Beach area.

Kaká paid $8.7 million for a condo on the 14th floor of Oceana Bal Harbour, at 10203 Collins Avenue. Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima paid $7.8 million for a penthouse at Onda in Bay Harbor Islands, at 1135 103rd Street. Ronaldo's deal closed in March 2026; Kaká's closed earlier this year, according to The Real Deal, which reported both purchases on Saturday, July 19.

The purchases come as the 2026 FIFA World Cup wraps up. Miami hosted matches through Saturday, July 18, drawing an estimated one million tourists during the tournament, according to The Real Deal.

Kaká's Bal Harbour buy

Kaká, whose full name is Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, won the 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year and the Ballon d'Or, beating out Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for both honors. He played for AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Orlando City SC before retiring in 2017. He was part of Brazil's 2002 World Cup-winning squad.

His Oceana Bal Harbour unit spans 3,350 square feet with three bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms.

Ronaldo's Bay Harbor Islands penthouse

Ronaldo Nazário, the retired Brazilian striker widely considered one of the greatest players of all time, also won the World Cup with Brazil. His Onda penthouse spans just over 5,000 square feet with five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms in the eight-story, 41-unit building.

Onda was completed in 2024 by a joint venture between Ugo Colombo's CMC Group and Valerio Morabito's Morabito Properties. Designed by Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, the building features more than 300 linear feet of bay frontage and a 15-slip private marina. The project reached an estimated $170 million in total sales, according to The Real Deal.

Bay Harbor Islands sits roughly two miles north of Miami Beach, neighboring Indian Creek Island.

A growing roster

They aren't the only Brazilian soccer stars buying in the area. Neymar paid $26 million in 2024 for a waterfront lot on Bal Bay Drive in Bal Harbour, where construction on a new single-family home began in May 2026, according to property filings reported by The Real Deal.

David Beckham and his partners founded Inter Miami in 2018 and brought Lionel Messi to the club in 2023, adding to a string of soccer-star purchases across South Florida. Beckham himself paid $72.3 million for a North Bay Road mansion in Miami Beach in 2024, setting a city record for that street.
